The gifts make Kirby exceedingly excited, the puffball giddly unwrapping them and giggling. “Omigosh! A sword! It’s awesome! Thank you sooo much, Meta Knight!”

He approaches the elder puffball and gives him a quick hug, still grinning, widely. “My day’s been pretty good so far, how about you?”

When the form of the one eyed dark matter hovers up to his home, Kirby backs up before very slowly stepping outside, the gift left at the doorstep piquing his curiosity. A gift? From the Dark Matter and 02? Who would have guessed it?

… Hmm….what if this was some kind of trick, though? What if the candy was poisoned? …Oh well, it looked delicious, so he’d risk it. He tosses a candy into his mouth, smiling. “Mm…! Tell him thanks, poyo!”
